Editor's Note - April 2014
We at Consultant for Pediatricians endured a particularly cold, snowy, and icy winter here in the Northeast. In keeping with the sweet sense of renewal that spring’s long-awaited arrival brings, we’ve refreshed the pages of the journal beginning with this month’s issue. We’ve updated the look, streamlined the design for easy navigability, and made enhancements and additions to the content. We haven’t, however, changed the emphasis on clinical images, the hallmark feature of Consultant for Pediatricians.
We’ve added a Pediatric Update department featuring news about the practice of pediatric health care, from new guidelines and research findings to coverage of pediatrics conferences and more. For more news and clinical information, visit PediatricsConsultant360.com regularly, and sign up for the Consultant for Pediatricians e-newsletter to have updates delivered directly to your inbox.
We also have added a new feature that will allow you to test your diagnostic chops. Photo Quiz will offer a new clinical image and case presentation in each issue; we’ll publish the outcome in the following month’s issue and at our website. In the meantime, visit PediatricsConsultant360.com/PhotoQuiz to join the discussion, share your diagnosis, and test your clinical acumen with more Photo Quiz articles.
Our continuing mission is providing pediatric physicians, PAs, and NPs with practical, peer-reviewed clinical information from expert colleagues, deftly curated and delivered in an engaging, convenient format. Access our content in print, online, and with the tablet edition—available via a free app for Android and Apple mobile devices.
